Max Air is set to transport 52,000 passengers during the upcoming Hadj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
The airline is one of three Nigerian carriers expected to airlift up to 76,000 pilgrims, the others being Kabo Air and Medview Airlines.
The first flight is scheduled for the last week of August.
Max Air will use its fleet of five B747s in a bid to carry more than half the expected number of pilgrims from Nigeria.
