About Jonathan

Jonathan graduated from the University of Salford in 2024 with a BA (Hons) in Broadcast Journalism. During his time at university, he actively pursued industry experience, through roles at ITV Granada Reports and the Tonight program. Following his graduation in May 2024, Jonathan joined Airline Economics as a reporter, where he quickly adapted his degree to the role. With a lifelong passion for aviation and a deep-rooted family connection to the industry, Jonathan found the opportunity to combine his interests in aviation and journalism to be particularly fulfilling. Since joining the publication, he has been driven to explore areas of the industry beyond his initial knowledge, such as aviation finance. Jonathan has covered a diverse range of topics, including the Farnborough Airshow, airport slot regulations, and major financial transactions within the sector.
