LATAM Peru is all set to commence daily operations between Lima and Caracas, deploying its Airbus A320 and A319 aircraft on this route. The service will begin on Tuesday, August 1 marking LATAM’s 27th international destination.
LATAM’s A320 carry a total of 174 passengers, with 12 seats in premium economy and 162 in economy class. As for the A319, the aircraft can carry a maximum of 138 passengers with 12 seats in premium economy cabin and 126 for economy.
LATAM Group is expanding its network with .9 million passengers in June, which shows a rise of 26.5% from June 2022. The Group reported an increase of 33% in the revenue passenger-kilometers (RPK) and 28.1% in the available seat-kilometers (ASK) compared to the same period in 2022.
The freight division LATAM Cargo recently added its 18th aircraft, a Boeing 767-300BCF, to expand its freighter capabilities.
The group inaugurated seven new routes with Bogotá- Orlando, in commercial agreement with Delta Air Lines, São Paulo- Los Angeles under similar agreement with Delta. Moreover, the group is also set to commence four weekly flights from Lima to La Habana, starting October 29.
