flydubai has launched its Dubai to Mombasa, Kenya route, the first UAE carrier to do so. The flights will operate four times a week from Dubai International Airport to Moi International Airport, with the inaugural flight taking off on January 17.
"Moi International Airport has long been a gateway to East Africa, fostering economic growth, tourism, and cultural exchange," said Kenya Airports Authority CEO and managing director Henry Ogoye. "With the introduction of flydubai, we are opening new doors of opportunity for both business and leisure travellers."
"flydubai’s inaugural flight to Mombasa reflects our commitment to further strengthening our network in Africa and to providing our passengers with more options for convenient travel to one of East Africa’s most attractive destinations," said flydubai senior vice president of commercial operations Sudhir Sreedharan.
The FZ 1289 flight takes flydubai's network in Africa to 12 destinations in 11 countries.
