United Airlines is to expand its services between the US and Dublin, with the airline increasing capacity by an additional 40% during the summer period of 2025.
Starting March 29, 2025, the airline will seasonally double the number of flights between Dublin and Washington D.C., from once to twice daily. The airline will also increase capacity on its seasonal Dublin-to-Chicago route by upgrading from its current 757-200 to the airline’s larger 787-8 aircraft.
In addition to these services, United will continue to offer year-round daily nonstop flights from Dublin to New York and Newark, as well as seasonal daily nonstop services from Shannon to New York, Newark and Chicago.
The expansion of services between Dublin and the US is part of United’s wider network expansion.
