Brussels Airlines selects HAECO for exclusive A330 base maintenance service

HAECO, a Hong Kong-based provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has signed an exclusive base maintenance contract with Brussels Airlines.

Starting in September 2025, HAECO will provide support for the airline’s Airbus A330 fleet at its 22-bay hangar facilities in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

The partnership, which will be the first time that HAECO has worked with Brussels Airlines’ aircraft, will run until 2028.

Under the agreement, HAECO Hong Kong will service Brussels Airlines’ entire fleet of 11 Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft during the winter season.

In a statement, HAECO said the partnership will cover C-checks, including C1, C2 and 6-year checks.

Since its inception in March 2007, Brussels Airlines has operated as an all-Airbus carrier, now comprising 46 aircraft, including the A319, A320 and A330-300.

Based at Brussels Airport in Belgium, the Star Alliance member airline serves over 90 destinations in Europe, North America and Africa.
