Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KILA) has been ranked by OAG’s “2024 Megahubs Index” as the most connected airport in the Asia-pacific region and the top global low-cost carrier (LCC) megahub. The index displayed results showing that the airport offers over 14,500 possible low-cost connections across a total of 137 destinations. Operating 43% of all flights from KILA, AirAsia also accounts for 74% of the airport’s total LCC capacity.
