The US Department of Transportation (DOT) has released its Air Travel Consumer Report (ATCR) on airline operational data compiled for the month of April this year for factors such as on-time performance and number of operated flights. During April, 0.7% of flights were cancelled, that’s down 1% compared to 2023 levels and down 1.7% when compared to pre-pandemic levels in April 2019. Operated flights were up 5.05% in comparison to the 586,353 flights operated in April 2023 and were down 1.24% from 623,409 flights operated in March 2024.
