Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has released its second quarter financial results for this year. The company delivered a total of 47 jets in the second financial quarter of 2024, an 88% increase compared to the previous quarter where 25 jets were delivered. The manufacturers overall backlog ended at $21.1 billion, which was 20% higher than the same time in the previous year, with the biggest increase seen in commercial aviation which saw a backlog of $11.3 billion. Within the quarter Embraer reached another milestone: the delivery of its 1,800th E-Jet in May.
