Wizz Air launches two new Romania routes from Sweden's Malmo Airport
Wizz Air will launch two new routes from Sweden's Malmo Airport to Romania's cities of Bucharest and Iasi from October 29, 2024. The new routes will operate twice a week. ""Wizz Air's investment in additional direct routes from Malmo Airport is a clear sign of the continued high demand for international travel,"" said Swedavia - Swedish state-owned airport operator - director aviation business Elizabeth Axtelius. ""Wizz Air has a longstanding presence at Malmö Airport and plays an important role in connecting Sweden to well-established markets in southeastern Europe."" The airline said the routes will further strengthen the region's connection to southeastern Europe. The Bucharest route will be operated by the airline's A321ceo, while the Iasi route will be serviced by its A320ceo.
