Wizz Air has received an A321XLR for its Maltese subsidiary Wizz Air Malta, the company said on July 16, 2025.
The aircraft was delivered to the airline at Milan Malpensa.
“Welcoming the A321XLR into our fleet is a proud moment for Wizz Air Malta,” said Wizz Air Malta managing director Mauro Penenda. “It demonstrates our commitment to operating one of the youngest, most modern, and sustainable fleets in the world.”
Wizz Air received its first XLR in May this year, registered in the UK, flying from London Gatwick to Jeddah.
The company expects to receive six of the extra long range jets this year, with 300 on order.
