UK and European airlines are all eager to bid for Thomas Cook’s take-off and landing slots at London’s Gatwick airport once they begin to be auctioned off.
Virgin Atlantic, Wizz Air have already publicly noted their interest, but easyJet, British Airways and Tui could also join the bidding.
Thomas Cook has 15 daily slot pairs during summer at Gatwick, and eight in the winter.
