American Airlines will start a new daily service between Edinburgh and New York’s JFK airport for the summer season next year.
Running from May until September, the new daily service, will depart Edinburgh at 9:15am and arrive in JFK at approximately 11:45am (EST).
This will be the first time an American Airlines aircraft will touch down at Edinburgh following its merger with US Airways.
Officially starting on May 7, 2015, the new link between Edinburgh and JFK will join Air Canada Rouge and United Airlines. It will also add to United’s existing twice-daily service to Newark.
American Airlines will be operating Boeing 757-200 on the routes.
