Turkish Airlines carried 7.6 million passengers in May

Turkish Airlines carried 7.6 million passengers in May, an increase of 5.1% in comparison to the same period of the year prior.

The airline's load factor averaged 81.1% during the month, 1.3 percentage points higher than figures from May 2024.

Load factor on Turkish’s international services averaged at 80.6%, while on domestic services load factor totalled 86%.

Capacity increased by 6% on the year prior.

When looking at the year so far, Turkish Airlines has carried 34 million passengers, compared to 32.8 million passengers in the same period of 2024 - a 3.7% increase.

By the end of May, Turkish Airlines had a fleet made up of 484 aircraft.
