Spirit Airlines began operations from Columbia Metropolitan Airport in South Carolina on June 5, 2025, marking its third destination in the state.
The low-cost carrier will operate four weekly flights to Newark, and three weekly flights each to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale from Columbia.
Spirit also launched services from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport in Tennessee on June 4, 2025, with flights to the same three destinations: Newark, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale.
