Singapore Airlines increases frequencies and capacity for 2025

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is set to increase flight frequencies and passenger capacity across its network next year. The airline will begin a daily service to London Gatwick in addition to four daily flights to London Heathrow. SIA will increase services to other European cities including five services a week to Rome between June and August and five weekly services to Barcelona between June and September. Frequencies to Adelaide, Ho Chi Minh City and Johannesburg will also increase between winter 2024 and summer 2025 – the airline's A380 will also return to Tokyo Narita between March and May of next year. “Singapore Airlines regularly reviews our network and routes to align our capacity with demand,” Dai Haoyu, acting senior vice president marketing planning, Singapore Airlines. “These adjustments, ahead of next summer, cater to the higher demand to several destinations, particularly during the traditional mid-year peak travel season, enabling our customers to confidently make their 2025 travel plans.” In line with its capacity adjustments, SIA will suspend its service to Houston via Manchester from April 1, 2025 – the airline will however maintain its five times weekly service between Singapore and Manchester.
