AMS Aircraft Services (AMS) has appointed industry veteran Simon McLean as its Managing Director. MacLean will replace Mike Skinner, the founder, and CEO of AMS who has agreed to step back from day-to-day activities after a span of over 21 years. He will now lead AMS as the Non-Executive Chairman.

Prior to joining AMS, McLean held various posts in the industry. He was the CEO of Oman Brunei Aviation Leasing Company, and Chief Operating Officer of Waha Leasing, UAE. He also worked at Barclays Bank, Chemical Bank, and Standard Chartered. He has three decades of global experience in the aircraft lessor and banking sector and worked closely with airlines, aviation investors, and lenders.
