TAAG Angola Airlines has selected Unum Aircraft Seating as the business class seat supplier for its new fleet of 787 aircraft.

The Unum One seat, chosen by TAAG features an outward-facing herringbone layout, full lie-flat capability, and direct aisle access.

“Introducing Unum One into our business class cabin gives us the tools to enhance comfort and quality for our passengers and aligns with our ongoing commitment to delivering a world-class travel experience,” said Miguel Carneiro, chief commercial officer at TAAG.

TAAG Angola Airlines took delivery of its first 787 aircraft from Boeing in January, the first of four of the aircraft type that are scheduled for delivery to the airline.

This new fleet of widebody aircraft is set to advance the airline's fleet modernisation plans and long-haul capabilities, bringing more travellers and trade to Angola.

Panasonic Avionics in-flight entertainment will be integrated into the business class suites, with Boeing Global Services handling the cabin integration for the project.

These seats are due to be delivered in 2026.
