Saudia has reported growth within its operational performance during the third quarter of the year, transporting over nine million passengers during the period, marking a 10% increase when compared to the same period of last year.
During the quarter the Saudi flag carrier operated more than 49 thousand flights, reflecting a 9% increase in flight operations in comparison to the third quarter of 2023. Additionally, Saudia logged over 146 thousand hours, representing an 11% increase over last year, with an overall on-time performance rate of 87.8%.
Looking at international and domestic operations, Internationally Saudia carried over five million passengers, reflecting growth of 9% in comparison to the same period of 2023. Domestically the airline saw growth of 12% increase in passenger number, flying over four million passengers during the quarter within Saudi Arabia.

In the nine months up to September, Saudia transported over 25.3 million guests across over 143 thousand flights. Looking ahead, the addition of 131 new aircraft to Saudia’s fleet will significantly expand flight offerings and seating capacity across its network of over 100 destinations spanning four continents.
