Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched new domestic routes as part of its domestic network expansion on January 27, 2025.
The new routes include Arlanda-Halmstad City Airport and Arlanda-Kalmar Oland Airport. This will enhance accessibility between north and south of Sweden.
“It's highly positive that SAS is now operating the route to Kalmar with Arlanda as the hub,” said Kalmar Oland Airport CEO Ronny Lindberg. “Moving forward, it is essential that we all capitalise on the increased accessibility provided by SAS' investment, which is fundamental to the region's growth."
The airline is also introducing high-speed Wi-Fi on its flights through the Starlink solution engineered by SpaceX. The phased rollout on its entire fleet will begin at the end of this year. EuroBonus members will be able to use the feature for free.
