Qatar Airways flight operations continue to be suspended amid conflict

With the Qatari airspace remaining closed amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Qatar Airways has provided an update on flight operations today (March 3).

Flights continue to be suspended.

“Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace,” said the airline.

The company will provide an update on Wednesday (March 4) at 9 a.m. Doha time.

The airline's hub at Doha Hamad International Airport has suspended all operations as a result of the closed airspace.

Additionally, Emirates has suspended all scheduled flights through March 4 due to the airspace closures in the region. The airline is operating a limited number of passenger repatriation and freighter flights today and tomorrow. Passengers with earlier bookings are receiving priority on these flights.

Limited operations resumed at Dubai International Airport yesterday and the airport has advised passengers not to travel unless they have received confirmation from the airline.
