In the first seven months of this year, Polish carrier LOT has reported earnings of more than PLN 150 million (approximately €35.4 million), which is an uptick of PLN 63 million compared to the same period last year.
CEO Rafał Milczarski has commented that the airline expects a net profit of PLN 300 million at the end of the year. He credited the airline’s new business strategy, which launching new flights and boosting revenue, while keeping an eye on costs, for the result.
From January to the end of July, LOT flew 3.7 million passengers, 23 percent more than in the first seven months of 2016.
