Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch an additional route to Chicago, while increasing frequencies to several US cities starting May 2025, citing a “strong demand” for inbound travel.
The carrier will introduce a new service between Tokyo Narita and Chicago O’Hare from May 31, 2025, which will operate alongside its existing Tokyo Haneda-Chicago route.
JAL will also increase its Narita-San Diego route to daily flights during the summer season, while Kansai-Los Angeles and Kansai-Honolulu routes will also move to daily services.
The airline confirmed it will also deploy its Airbus A350-1000 on its Haneda- Los Angeles route during the summer schedule of fiscal year 2025.
JAL currently operates flights to eight US cities including Seattle, Boston, San Francisco, New York, San Diego, Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas.
