Norwegian signs new landmark deals with tour operators worth over £15 million

Low-cost airline Norwegian has signed a new deal that will provide more destinations for UK winter travellers. The airline has signed new agreements with three tour operators in the UK - Nielson Travel, Balkan Holidays and Skiworld. Norwegian will provide charter flights from London Gatwick using aircraft equipped with free WiFi for UK travellers to take advantage of top ski destinations in France, Spain and Bulgaria during the winter season.

Norwegian will also operate charter flights on behalf of TUI, Thomas Cook and Vitaltours as part of the new agreement struck in the Nordic region. Scandinavians will benefit from charter flights to the Canary Islands, otherwise known to Norwegians as Syden (‘the South’) for some guaranteed winter sun.

Together the UK and Nordic deals are valued at over £15 million.

Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian said: “We’re very pleased to continue flying charter passengers by collaborating with new partners. We are also looking forward to welcoming even more passengers to experience our free in-flight WiFi on board our comfortable and brand new aircraft.”

From London, Norwegian will fly charter passengers to Grenoble, Lleida and Sofia and from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, flights will serve Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote.
