Norse Atlantic Airways saw an average load factor of 83% on its flights during July of this year – representing a decrease of two percentage points in comparison to July 2023.
“Load factor in July was adversely impacted by both the Olympic games and the Crowdstrike IT global outage,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic Airways.
He continued: “We have seen positive forward bookings trends for August in general as demand for summer travel is later compared to the same period a year earlier. Norse Atlantic passengers experienced some cancellations as a direct result of the Crowdstrike IT incident and I would to thank our passengers for their patience during this extraordinary event.”
In total, the airline served 176,934 passengers over the month, representing a 17% increase across 639 flights compared to the year earlier.
