Emirates along with a number of European airlines have extended flight cancellations to parts of the Middle East as tensions in the region continue to escalate.
Emirates cancelled flights to Baghdad and Tehran up to and including October 30, 2024. In addition, the airline extended its cancellation of flights to Lebanon up to and including October 31, 2024.
Greek flag carrier Aegean Airlines has cancelled all flights to Tel Aviv up to November 5, 2024. In a statement to passengers the airline said: “Due to the current situation in the Middle East we proceed with adjustments and cancellations on our flight schedule. Flights to and from Ben Gurion International Airport until November 5, 2024, are cancelled."
Aegean has also cancelled all flights to Beirut until November 6, 2024.
Similarly, Latvian carrier airBaltic has extended its cancellation of flights to Tel-Aviv until November 30, 2024, with KLM cancelling all of its flights until December 31, 2024.
