Denver-based travel club Manifest is to offer what it said are "guaranteed hourly rates for private charter flights".
No deposit will be required, said Manifest, with the offer to be part of membership deals, where premier level costs $2,500 a year and elite twice as much
“Typically, to access guaranteed private charter pricing, consumers have to deposit $100,000 or even up to $500,000 with a jet card company,” said chief executive Jeff Potter.
Fixed hourly rates for premium ranges from $7,000 for a light jet to $15,000 for a heavy jet, with the elite prices at $6,500 for a light jet to $14,500 for a heavy jet.
“Locking in a fixed hourly rate for private air charters means that Manifest members are less subject to the fluctuations in the market due to fuel costs or having their money tied up with a jet card in the event of volatile economic conditions,” added Potter.
