Lynx Air's inaugural flight to Calgary International Airport from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas is to take off on February 24.
"Lynx Air took to the Canadian skies for the first time just over ten months ago, and we are excited to expand across the border to the entertainment capital of the world,"said Merren McArthur, chief executive of the airline.
The route will operate four times a week, the Canadian budget carrier said, and has been welcomed in Vegas.
"From a long list of imported entertainment powerhouses to the expansion of the National Hockey League, Canada’s influence on the destination is undeniable,” said H. Fletch Brunelle, vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
“We are so excited to welcome Lynx Air to Harry Reid International Airport,” said Rosemary Vassiliadis, Clark County director of aviation.
