Lufthansa Cargo has published its winter 2025/26 flight schedule, highlighting expanded belly capacity, renewed freighter routes, and further integration of ITA Airways' cargo operations.
Under the new schedule, Lufthansa Cargo will market ITA Airways’ bellyhold cargo capacity on nearly all international routes, excluding the US and Canada, pending regulatory approval. The move builds on a commercial partnership launched in June, adding Rome-Fiumicino as a southern European hub and increasing available capacity by up to 20%.
The company said the broader network, which includes transport options via hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Brussels and Rome, aims to deliver more flexibility and stable service to freight customers.
Almaty in Kazakhstan will return to the company’s freighter network, while the transpacific route between Ho Chi Minh City and Los Angeles will now include a stopover in Shanghai, enabling direct cargo shipments from China to North America.
Lufthansa Group airlines will also expand belly capacity on several long-haul routes. Austrian Airlines is set to offer up to two daily flights between Vienna and Bangkok, while Brussels Airlines will boost services to African cities including Dakar, Conakry, and Accra.
Discover Airlines will launch new services from Frankfurt to the Seychelles.
The winter schedule takes effect on October 26, 2025.
