Loganair enters into partnership with the Skyborne Airline Academy

Loganair has entered a new partnership with Skyborne Airline Academy.

The partnership will allow Skyborne integrated ATPL trainees the opportunity to be ‘tagged’ by Loganair upon successful completion of their first six-months of ATPL ground school, receiving priority placement in the airline’s hold pool prior to graduation.

“At Skyborne, our aspiring airline pilots are at the heart of everything we do and through our new partnership with Loganair, I’m proud we can offer a path to a rewarding career with a thriving airline,” said Carla Booth, commercial director of Skyborne UK. “Offering security to our trainees through job opportunities is important, and we look forward to seeing them soar with Loganair.”

Once tagged, trainees will receive mentoring from Loganair throughout the remainder of their studies across Skyborne’s US and UK bases, before going on to undertake type rating training with Loganair.

Jordan Jennings, flight crew recruiter at Loganair commented: “It’s become apparent from our first intake of Skyborne trainees that the quality of the training provided is incredibly high and therefore embarking on this partnership was an easy decision for Loganair.”

Skyborne’s new partnership with Loganair adds to existing partnerships with airlines including British Airways, Delta Air Lines, SkyWest and IndiGo.
