Air cargo business Magma Aviation has announced the appointment of James Gilliard as head of commercial.
"James brings with him 20 years of aviation industry experience, joining the business following two and a half years at IAG [International Airlines Group] Cargo in London where he was regional sales manager," Magma said in a statement.
Industry veteran Gilliard previously worked for Etihad Airways, Gulf Air and Jet Airways, and before those appointments spent 18 years with Cathay Pacific.
Gilliard's experience means he is "expertly placed" for his new job, according to Magma Aviation, which is a Chapman Freeborn company and part of Lithuania-based Avia Solutions Group.
