Steven Udvar-Hazy’s Air Lease Corp, is seeking to raise $100 million via an initial public stock offering. In an Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Air Lease plans to use the proceeds to fund acquisition of commercial aircraft and for general corporate purposes.
Analysts expect such an issue to fare well simply off the back of Udvar-Hazy reputation in the aircraft leasing business.
ALC has not disclosed how many shares would be sold or at what price, nor did it say when the stock sale would take place.
