Icelandair has taken delivery of its first Airbus aircraft, marking the beginning of its fleet renewal program with the arrival of one A321LR.
This new aircraft is configured with 187 seats, offering 22 in business class and 165 in economy and is powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines.
This A321LR is one of four leased from SMBC Aviation Capital.

The Icelandic carrier plans to expand its fleet further with the delivery of 13 A321XLR aircraft.
