Gulf Air Group Holding, parent company of Bahrain’s national flag carrier Gulf Air, has announced changes within its senior executive management team.
Captain Qasim Ismaeel has been appointed as chief operations officer, succeeding Captain Suhail Ismaeel. In his new role, Captain Qasim Ismaeel will assume responsibility for the company’s operational departments including flight operations, ground operations, safety and emergency, and crew management.
During his 31 years at Gulf Air, Ismaeel has held various leadership positions including director of flight operations. He has also held key operational roles such as Type Rating Examiner for the airline’s 787 fleet.
Hanadi Alaali has also assumed the position of chief customer experience officer, leveraging her 20 years of industry experience to enhance the airline’s customer service and passenger experience. As part of this role, she will also oversee the carrier’s ‘Falcon Flyer’ loyalty programme.
