Teneo, the liquidator appointed to wind down operations of GTLK Europe and GTLK Europe Capital, has launched a sales process for three A319-111 aircraft. The three aircraft are based in Europe.
GTLK’s parent is Russian state-owned leasing company JSS GTLK, but the majority of the aircraft leasing business was run by Irish-registered firms, GTLK Europe and GTLK Europe Capital, which operated out of its Dublin office. GTLK operations were halted almost overnight following sanctions imposed on Russian-owned companies by the European Union and the United States following the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
IBA acts as the remarketing agent for the aircraft. The sales process is expected to conclude by November 2024.
""We are pleased to launch another sales process to realise the value of GTLKE’s asset portfolio for creditors,"" said Teneo Restructuring Ireland joint liquidators to GTLKE DAC and GTLK Europe Capital DAC Damien Murran and Julian Moroney. ""We have made significant strides in recent months progressing the liquidation process while working closely with regulators and operating within the sanctions regime.
""It’s positive to see this momentum now enabling us to bring a range of assets to market including these three A319-111 aircraft.""
A spokesperson for Teneo said, ""There has been very positive interest in the two 737-800s"" sales process launched earlier in June.
