GOL appoints new CFO

Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes (GOL) has named Richard Lark as its new Chief Financial Officer who replaces Edmar Lopes. Lark, who was GOL CFO from 2003 to 2008, takes over the task of steering the airline through a recession in the country and a major restructuring at the company. Lark will now lead the talks with lessors to return 20 737s. Gol board member Henrique Constantino is also stepping down, to be replaced by Bloomberg analyst Anna Constantino, reports the news service. Constantino is the daughter of Gol Chairman Constantino de Oliveira Jr. and is part of the family that controls Gol.
