Dublin-based lessors FLY Leasing Ltd. has signed agreements with an unnamed Asian airline over three A330-300 aircraft.
The terms of the deal include FLY purchasing the first of the aircraft during the next few weeks, and the remaining two will arrive before the end of the year.
Two of the aircraft were manufactured in 2013, and the third in 2014.
FLY Leasing CEO Colm Barrington stated that with 12 aircraft purchased during 2014, “FLY is well on its way to beating its 15% fleet growth target for the second year in a row.”
FLY Leasing also announced that it had acquired four B737-300s that are on lease to four European carriers. The acquisitions were financed from FLY’s unrestricted cash.
FLY currently has a fleet of 118 aircraft on lease to more than 65 airlines in over 35 countries.
