EPCOR expands capabilities with acquisition of HGT1700 APU maintenance for A350 aircraft
AFI KLM's maintenance centre, EPCOR is set to enhance its service portfolio after acquiring a HGT1700 auxiliary power unit (APU) maintenance capability for the A350 aircraft. Anne Brachet, executive vice president of Air France-KLM Engineering & Maintenance stated: ""This strategic expansion signifies our unwavering commitment to excellence, enabling us to provide comprehensive MRO services for our valued customers. We are dedicated and poised to deliver unparalleled MRO solutions."" EPCOR’s facility, which is located at Amsterdam Schiphol-Rijk, is equipped to handle the HGT1700 APU, serving operators of the A350. ""Acquiring the HGT1700 capability is a significant milestone for EPCOR,"" said Heidi Haveman, managing director of EPCOR. She continued: ""This addition allows us to provide top-tier maintenance solutions for A350 operators throughout the world, ensuring they benefit from our expertise and dedication to service and quality. Our goal is to support our customers with the most reliable and efficient services, and this new capability is a testament to that commitment."" This expansion enables EPCOR to offer MRO services for this aircraft type from July 2025.
