Aircraft asset management provider Deucalion Aviation has delivered the final of four A350-900s to Lufthansa. All aircraft are owned by Deucalion Aviation’s shareholder SVP Global.
Previously operated by LATAM, the four 2016 and 2019 aircraft were purchased by the German flag carrier in 2023. The first three units were delivered to Lufthansa in October and November 2023 with the final example, MSN079, added in January.
“We are delighted to conclude this significant transaction with Lufthansa, and to support the growth of the airline, as it continues to build its fleet of new technology, fuel efficient widebodies,” said Jon Skirrow, co-CEO and COO of Deucalion Aviation. He also thanked the Lufthansa and Deucalion teams who have “worked tirelessly to structure and execute on this complex transaction”.
As of December 1 2023, Deucalion had 167 aircraft under management across more than 90 lessees in over 50 countries.
