Emirates has taken delivery of its first A350 aircraft, with the delivery marking the first new aircraft type to join the airline’s fleet since 2008.
The aircraft will officially enter commercial service on January 3, 2025, with a service to Edinburgh, followed by an additional eight other destinations across the Middle East, West Asia and Europe.
The aircraft features 312 passengers seats, comprised of 32 business, 21 premium economy, and 259 economy class seats. Emirates will also be the first airline in the Middle East to introduce Airbus' new HBCplus satcom connectivity solution.
Arriving in Dubai from Toulouse on November 25, the aircraft is the first of 65 A350s that will be joining Emirates’ fleet.
