Emerald Airlines to link Cork with Bristol and Belfast with the Isle of Man

Emerald Airlines is to fly from Belfast to the Isle of Man from April 24 and from Cork to Bristol starting four days later.

The Aer Lingus regional operator flies to 17 destinations across Ireland and the UK after adding to its Belfast route network in the aftermath of the recent demise of Flybe.

“The airline will also operate new routes to East Midlands, Jersey, Newcastle and Newquay. This is in addition to its existing services to Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Southampton," said Katy Best, commercial director at Belfast City Airport.

“We are delighted to be bolstering our Belfast City schedule by adding a new link between Belfast and the Isle of Man," said Conor McCarthy, Emerald's chief executive.
