Embraer delivered a total of 57 aircraft during the third financial quarter of the year, an increase of 33% when compared to the same period of last year and an increase of 24% in comparison to the previous quarter.
Commercial aviation delivered 16 jets during the period, with executive aviation delivering 41 jets and defence and security delivering two.
The manufacturer’s backlog reached $22.7bn in the quarter, 25% higher in comparison to the third quarter of 2023 and 10% higher than the second quarter of the year. Notably Embraer delivered its first E2 aircraft - under a contract signed with lessor Azorra - to supply LOT Polish Airlines. The agreement also includes the delivery of two more jets before the end of the year.
Along with aircraft deliveries - the company announced in the third quarter the expansion of its customer support network in the Asia-Pacific region - through partnerships with SIA Engineering Corporation and Fokker Services Asia. In the US, Embraer also expanded with direct investment into new facilities in Texas.
