Switzerland’s Edelweiss has taken delivery of its first A350 aircraft, expecting it to arrive in Zurich on March 13, 2025.
In a statement, the airline said that A350 scheduled services will commence on April 1, 2025, with a flight between Zurich and Tenerife. Initially, the aircraft will operate on short- and medium-haul routes to facilitate crew training.
From mid-May, the aircraft will then be deployed on long-haul routes, starting with Las Vegas.
With the arrival of a second A350 in early July, Edelweiss will introduce daily flights on its Zurich–Vancouver route.
