Finnair is extending its current its seasonal Guangzhou, China route to year-round operations.
The route, which started as a summer route in 2016, will operate between Helsinki and Guangzhou with two weekly frequencies during starting this winter.
However, from this spring, it will serve the route with its new Airbus A350 aircraft, adding both passenger and cargo capacity to the route.
Christian Lesjak, SVP, network and resource management at Finnair, commented: “The extension of the operating season of our Guangzhou route is a logical next step in our Asian strategy."
“Travel between Finnair’s Chinese destinations and Europe is increasing, and we are happy now to be able to offer year-round operations to our passengers and cargo customers.”
