Delta reaches largest transatlantic schedule with 77 routes across 32 destinations

Delta Air Lines has reached its largest-ever transatlantic schedule with about 77 different routes across the Atlantic Ocean connecting 32 different destinations. Over the past three months, Delta has resumed almost 31 of these routes.

Delta passengers will be able to enjoy over 650 different flights per week during the peak of this upcoming summer, with Delta offering almost 30% increase in available seat capacity compared to the same time last year.

Most of the transatlantic flights originate from Delta hubs of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Delta has increased flights from Atlanta with a new daily connection to Tel Aviv. In May, Delta also announced new daily flights to Nice, France, in addition to its route from JFK. The airline also launched a new daily service to Edinburgh, Scotland, which already has flights from JFK and Boston.

From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Delta operates daily route to Paris, France. The airline also announced a new daily nonstop service to London Heathrow, which is beginning this summer.

The airline has the largest transatlantic schedule flying out of New York. Out of Delta's 650 weekly flights, 230 of them are coming from JFK, flying to 26 different destinations across the Atlantic.

Many of these are seasonal flights for the summer, including Reykjavík, Venice, Prague, Nice, and Copenhagen. Delta will be flying a new route to Geneva, Switzerland and will also bring back its operation to London Gatwick after 15 years. Finally, it is bringing back its service to Berlin, restoring flying capacity to pre-pandemic levels.

The airline also recently ramped up its operations from Detroit adding new destinations like Rome and Reykjavík.

Delta announced its largest-ever schedule to Latin America, beginning in April 2024 with 44 different destinations, including Aruba, Cancun, San José, and many more offering 15% increase in the seats offered compared to last year.
