Delta Air Lines is reported to have offered its 13,000 pilots a raise of approximately 27% over four years, according to a letter seen by Bloomberg sent from John Malone, chairman of the Delta chapter of the Air Line Pilots Association. This offer is well below what the employees had proposed, which pushed for an immediate 22% pay increase, followed by two 7% annual raises, leading to a total base pay increase of 39.7% by 2018.
