Chapman Freeborn has appointed Russell Cook as its industry vertical director – automotive.
A global aircraft charter business and part of Avia Solutions Group, Chapman said Cook will work with auto businesses to help with their supply chain freight forwarding requirements.
"Cook has had a career in freight forwarding for over 30 years, 20 of which have been spent looking after automotive clients" and "previously held roles at companies including Emery Worldwide, UPS and DB Schenker, and also co-founded a fintech startup", the company said.
“I look forward to utilising my two decades of insight and expertise on global automotive supply chains to provide structure to the vertical and engage with clients, new and existing, across the world," said Cook.
