Cabot Aviation (Cabot), a division of Air Partner and a leading aircraft remarketing broker, has been awarded its first exclusive private jet sales mandate since it announced the strategic expansion of its operations into the Private Jet sector at the end of 2015.
A Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft, serial number 8091 and registration number RA-67220, was awarded to Cabot shortly after the launch of the new venture and the appointment of Tim Barber as Cabot’s Senior Vice President - Private Jets.
The aircraft has flown 2,240 hours and has a uniquely designed interior that features a full size shower and shower bidet within the well-equipped bathroom. In addition, there is spacious seating for 11 across two cabins: the forward cabin features club 2 seats opposite a 4-seater couch, whilst there is a further club 2 opposite a 3-seater couch in the rear cabin.
The forward galley is well equipped with a further two seats in the crew rest and a separate crew lavatory. The interior completion was undertaken in 2010 to a very high standard. For increased range, the aircraft is fitted with two PAT tanks.
Tony Whitty, MD of Cabot Aviation commented: “This is a great start to our new venture and we are delighted to also have a number of other opportunities currently under discussion. The announcement today and our recent announcement of the Kenya Airways agreement with Omni Air International are great examples of the cross-selling opportunities which exist for Cabot within the Air Partner group.”
