Brussels Airlines is expecting to carry two million passengers across the summer period, facilitated by an increased fleet of aircraft.
The airline will operate a fleet of 50 aircraft during the period, an increase of six planes compared to last year. This included the addition of one new A320 and A330 aircraft, in addition to the wet lease of four A220 jets from airBaltic.
Since the start of 2025, the Belgian flag carrier has hired almost 300 new employees, including 153 flight attendants and 57 pilots, to help its bolster its growth strategy.
