Bravia Capital eyes SpiceJet investment

Hong Kong-based private-equity firm Bravia Capital is talking to SpiceJet over a possible investment, according to SpiceJet Chief Executive Neil Mills who confirmed the airline was in talks with Bravia Capital and some others.
SpiceJet needs funds to be able to finance its delivery of six Boeing aircraft next year.
Bravia Capital has not yet confirmed whether the company was in talks with SpiceJet but should any investment be made this will be the first test of foreign direct investment into an Indian airline after the India's government changed rules to allow foreign airlines to own up to 49% stake in the country's carriers.
